How to use these faith laws, and how to move from understanding to faith.
  1.  God will give you promises in your devotional time. Work to make these real. Colossians 1:29; John 6:29
  2. Meditate on the verse. Psalm 119:11; Joshua 1:8
  3. Has God given the promise to you? 2 Cor. 1:20 Is this promise for you? Pray over the verse to have it come real in your life. Have confidence this promise is for you.
  4. Have the Scripture near by to quote often. Psalm 1:2
  5. Believing God will back up His word, state God is backing up His promise  to you, making it real in your life. Prov 18:20,21; John 6:63
  6. State the promise with expectation. Zeph 1:12
  7. You can tell faith has arrived by confidence, assurance, boldness, love, speaking about it and a true desire to do it. Romans 14:23
  8. Reject doubt with the instructions of 2 Cor. 10:3-6
  9. If you are doubting if you should be doing something then it is not of faith. Romans 14:23
  10. Ask yourself if you are eager to do what God has promised?
  11. When you go, go with joy and peace. Isaiah 55:12

Listen to God's direction when problems persist. James 1:2-8; Isaiah 30:21

  1. In Genesis 17 God calls Abraham to be blameless (original word means completely committed). The reality of your list is that we all fall short. The list is not only lengthy but it is impossible for us to accomplish because we all fall short of his glory. Our only hope is to be filled with His spirit and learning to be fully submitted to His leadership.

  2. We can follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Now unto Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless with great joy.

We can live in victory and overcome. Not in ourselves but as we yield to the Holy Spirit and follow His leading. Romans 8 shows the way.

As a boxer gets hit and is knocked down. The question is will he get back up? Will we get back up? Yes we can, because of Jesus. Philippians 4:13; Romans 8:37; John 16:33

We can overcome the problems of life, not looking at our shortcomings but looking at Jesus. Hebrews 12:2

  3. There is a difference between looking at the Bible as rules to follow and tools for life. Some yes we need to obey. When I see a promise I see a tool to allow me to overcome and gain victory. I don't see a rule that will beat me down if I fail. Why? I'm looking to Jesus not myself.
