Key points of Daily Christian Life
Salvation > Kingdom living. We can live above the world. Isaiah 40:31; Galatians 3:13; John 10:10
We are a friend of God. David, Abraham, Daniel were friends of God and Jesus is our friend as we accept the discipleship mandate. John 15:14
People of the Bible > I don't know any Christian in history that was on fire for God that did not also devour the Bible. Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:3; Psalm 119:148,165
Love > Love of people. Our purpose is not to have a good set of doctrines, but to love others.
Yes we need to rightly divide the word of God. And guide others that are straying. It is the Bible that reveals Christ to us and guides us in loving others.
Zeal > Zeal of the Lord is what accomplishes things. Isaiah 9:7 Be excited in what you are doing. If you are not excited about it, why are you still doing it? If we have responsibilities, then we will have the anointing to accomplish what God has given us to do. With anointing there is the Holy Spirit and with the Holy Spirit there is joy and power.
Living by faith > God is pleased with faith. Hebrews 11:6 All that we do should be of faith. We have faith 2 Peter 1:1. Faith is available for us to use. Mark 11:22 Do what you believe is of God and don't do what you doubt is of God! Romans 14:22,23 That is holiness.
Purpose > Ephesians 2:10 Without a vision the people perish. Proverbs 29:18 Find God's purpose for your life and do it with gusto, zeal, joy and in the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
People of prayer > We can't function if we don't stay in touch with our King. Jesus was always slipping away to pray. Luke 5:16 If you are not getting an answer, ask why? James 1:5; Isaiah 30:21
Pray in tongues > Vitality flows from the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 14:14,18
Fellowship > Go to church and get encouraged. Hebrews 10:25 Walk in the light and have the fellowship of God. 1 John 1:7
Share the gospel > Shoes are part of the armor of God. Ephesians 6:15 They are related to sharing the gospel. If we don't share the gospel there is a weakness in our armor and we can be knocked out.
Give > It is more blessed to give than receive. Acts 20:35; Ephesians 4:28 Where you put your money is where your heart is.
Pray and go. Go about your work and shout victory. If you can't, pray till you can. Luke 18:1

10 Points of Revelation 3:18
10 Points of Revelation 3:18
“I advise you to buy from Me gold
refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so
that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness
will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you
may see.” NASB
1 God advises us ~ Respond to the
Lord's advice from the Scriptures. Luke 8:15
2 Buy from God ~ Serve God from your
heart, like the man who found the hidden treasure who sold all to get
the treasure. Matthew 13:44
3 What is gold ~ Gold refers to the
good works we do because of God's love flowing from us to others. 1
Peter 1:7
4 Refined by fire ~ Fire refines the
work and turns it to gold as we work through the fires of life. Work
is refined as we give God glory instead of complaints in the midst of
the fire. Zechariah 13:9 1 Cor 3:13
5 Become rich ~ not through possessions
Luke 12:15; but having renewed your mind Romans 12:2 to use the
promises of God for Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:20
6 Buy white garments ~ white garments
come from being washed in the blood. Revelation 12:11 How do we get
this blood? We work out our salvation Philippians 2:12 by believing
God and not our accuser. John 6:29
7 Clothe yourself ~ After believing God
has washed us clean from sin, we put on righteousness and step out in
service. Righteousness is put on by believing in what Christ has done
for us. Isaiah 52:1,2
8 Cover shame of nakedness ~ Our old
self is sinful and useless for Kingdom use. We cover our nakedness by
believing in Jesus and what He did for us. Matthew 22:12

salve heals you from only seeing in the natural. It is a decision to
believe what Jesus said and not what you see in the natural. Jeremiah
46:11
10 Eyes to see ~ Ability to see in the
spirit what God has promised before it can be seen in the natural.
Ephesians 1:18

Romans 8:13
Romans 8:13 “for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.”
We try to stop sinning in ourselves, by our flesh by keeping rules. At first keeping rules to stop sin seems good. But it doesn't work. Col 2:20-23 By the Spirit we put to death the deeds of the body by turning from focusing on ourselves to serving Christ according to the leading of the Spirit.
Gal 5:16,18 “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.
18 “But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law.”
It is the law the brings sin into focus. When we turn our focus to Christ we have freedom. What we feed grows. When we turn our mind to Christ our spirit revives and we grow. Phil 4:8,9
Paul refers to himself 53 times in Romans 7. In Romans 8 he refers instead to the Spirit. The answer is to focus on Christ and do that by living for Him.
If instead we focus on our natural desires, our spirit is unused and we cease to be effective in spiritual matters.
When we are letting the Spirit direct us Rom 8:14 we are putting to death the deeds of the body by being active in serving Christ.
I start my day by speaking life. If I feel down at the start of the day I speak life. If I feel great, I start my day by speaking life. If I don't feel anything, I start my day by speaking life. And what do I speak about? SCRIPTURE! John 6:63
Have as your purpose to live for Christ. And we do this by loving others. Then you will live. 1 Thes 3:8

Romans 8:3
Romans 8:3
"“For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh,
God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh
and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,
What the Law Could Not Do
1. Law was a tutor. Wikipedia states: “A tutor is an instructor who gives private lessons.” Galatians 3:24: “Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith.”
2. Law was a shadow. Colossians 2:17: “things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.” In New Living Translation word's, “For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ himself is that reality.” Hebrews 10:4 says, “For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.” The Old Testament law was like writing a check or using a credit card to pay for our sin. The payment would be made later. The check or credit card is a promise to pay later.
3. The law was weak. Romans 7:18 and following explains that the law does not change anything. Flesh still dominates when we try to live by the law. Hebrews 7:18 says the Old Testament commandments were weak and useless.
Jesus was the plan from long ago. Isaiah 53:5-8
Jesus became a man to pay our debt of sin for us, condemning sin in the flesh.
Hebrews 2:14-17
The law was never meant to bring righteousness. It was meant as a tutor to bring us to Christ. (Galatians 3:4) It never would work, as we see how the law tripped up Adam and Eve. It trips each of us because we are not made to keep rules directly.
The law shows us our need. Many reject Christianity because of the many rules they don't want to keep. Yet, because of this very problem, Jesus came. We are not to keep rules but live for Jesus. And living for Jesus will cause us to keep the rules by loving others and God!
People can't love, (with God's kind of love), without the new birth. It is the new birth and Christ in us that empowers us to love. Love supersedes the law because if we love we will obey the law. Love expresses itself in obedience. And it this obedience that the law is seeking for. Jesus takes our eyes off the problem and onto something else. We then become Christ centered rather than self-centered. We need to die to ourselves and live for Christ. Live as Christ centered, not as self-centered.
Romans 7 discusses the inability to live by keeping the rules. Paul mentioned himself a number of times in Romans 7. The end of the chapter states we are free from living under the curse of the law and we can now live in the law of the Spirit of Christ.
What was the law trying to do? It was trying to atone for the sin of the people. The sacrifices were only a type of what Christ was going to do.
